She told me it was pronounced like "Win". Her name was "Nguyet" (the female version of the name, I think) and that was pronounced "We". My grandmother was born and raised in Lithuania, and she prounounced my last name in 2 syllables. My dad's 2 sisters were also born in Lithuania and pronounce it the same way.
