Dirtyhip Posted June 29, 2015 Share #1 Posted June 29, 2015 I was a tad tired from two days of mountain biking, but I got to enjoy a little pumping.

Dirtyhip Posted June 29, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted June 29, 2015 looks like a good time, but with all the hype you had behind the track.... I figured it was a lot bigger Pump tracks are usually quite small. This is a private one and it takes a ton of work to maintain both of these. There is a harder one right next to this one. It is about the same size and it was stolen from a professional design blueprint.
KrAzY Posted June 29, 2015 Share #6 Posted June 29, 2015 YOU STOLE IT???? Shame on you! Ok really to tell you the truth... I never been to a pump track in my life... I never knew the size of one

jsharr ★ Posted June 29, 2015 Share #8 Posted June 29, 2015 If you went the other way and had more patches on your uniform, this would be a lot like Nascar.

The new one is still gettin broken in and it is much tougher to pump. The track gets sandy and it can be quite sketchy. Your tires start to slide.

Page Turner Posted June 29, 2015 Share #12 Posted June 29, 2015 ...me too. It was surprisingly difficult to find a match in that silver gray color.

Why did you refrain from usage of said appendage?
kingtermite Posted June 29, 2015 Share #14 Posted June 29, 2015 You should fix those bumps in the track. It wouldn't take but a few minutes with a shovel.
Page Turner Posted June 29, 2015 Share #15 Posted June 29, 2015 It appears that you have a pump peg on head tube, no? Why did you refrain from usage of said appendage?... I have better luck, given my riding style and the obstacles I encounter, with a frame pump positioned along the seat tube. Even there I require a Velcro strap in order to avoid launching it. If I go with two bottle cages, the pump usually ends up on the TT, or, rarely, along a seat stay.
Pokey Posted June 30, 2015 Share #16 Posted June 30, 2015 That does look like fun, but, in my mind, also never having seen a pump track, I thought it would be bigger. Cool beans.

Dirtyhip Posted June 30, 2015 Author Share #19 Posted June 30, 2015 They are quite compact usually. There are two side by side at my buddies house and it takes a ton of work to maintain what little we do have.
