Zealot Posted July 2, 2015 Share #1 Posted July 2, 2015 Serfas Niobium: Actually, they're due in tomorrow, but I saw on the tracking that they are pretty close. I glued my old shoes back together so I could ride yesterday. They held up, I'm impressed. But these will be nice.
Kzoo Posted July 2, 2015 Share #2 Posted July 2, 2015 Looks can be deceiving, but those look heavy.
Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted July 2, 2015 Share #3 Posted July 2, 2015 Looks can be deceiving, but those look heavy. They'll make you stronger. Not Zealot, he's got strong legs. His shoes have lead soles.
Zealot Posted July 2, 2015 Author Share #4 Posted July 2, 2015 Looks can be deceiving, but those look heavy. 420 grams. Certainly not the lightest, but lighter than what I currently wear.
smudge ★ Posted July 2, 2015 Share #5 Posted July 2, 2015 Nifty shoes! But I have a question. Serfas seems to make (or at least brand) a lot of bike stuff. Do you think they have good shoes? I'm interested in hearing what you think of them.
Zealot Posted July 2, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted July 2, 2015 Nifty shoes! But I have a question. Serfas seems to make (or at least brand) a lot of bike stuff. Do you think they have good shoes? I'm interested in hearing what you think of them. They got good reviews. But honestly I really don't know. I got them at a decent price, so I'm not out a lot if I don't like them. I will let you know after I've ridden with them a bit.
Zealot Posted July 4, 2015 Author Share #7 Posted July 4, 2015 They did come in yesterday. They are nice! More than I expected after trying different higher end shoes on at an lbs. But it's been raining, so haven't had the opportunity to try em out yet...
Airehead Posted July 4, 2015 Share #8 Posted July 4, 2015 New shoes are always fun if they are comfotable. Mr. Aire got some new shows from Old No#7 and he delivered them. He is quite happy because they do not hurt his feet!
Thaddeus Kosciuszko Posted July 4, 2015 Share #9 Posted July 4, 2015 I glued my old shoes back together so I could ride yesterday. They held up, I'm impressed. I'm impressed too! If I glued my shoes together I couldn't figure out how to pedal.
