ANOTHER DEADLY MAN O' WAR SPOTTED IN NEW JERSEY

The man o' wars (men o' war?) are coming for us.

A second opalescent sack of poison was spotted in New Jersey over the weekend, this one washed up on the 26th Street Beach in North Wildwood, NBC New York reports.

The murderous siphonophore was removed from the beach and no one was injured, but remember: Their venomous tentacles can remain dangerous for hours or even days after their deaths, so if you find one, do not put it on your baby or try to wear it as a hat!

An unrelated though still relevant fact: Blanket octopi are immune to the man o' war's sting, and tend to capitalize on this by collecting their tentacles and wielding them as weapons to fend of predators.

The ocean is a terrifying place you're probably better off avoiding.
