Airehead Posted August 2, 2015 Share #1 Posted August 2, 2015 My mother gave me an electric, fuzzy logic pressure cooker. She has a bit of dementia and probably doesn't remember that she gave me a regular pressure cooker about three years ago. Do any of you all cook in a pressure cooker? If so, what? KrAzY Posted August 2, 2015 Share #2 Posted August 2, 2015 We cook in ours a lot.. mostly potatoes, things for canning, and ribs... I love the electric one, it is great for making long cooking meals cook in less time!

Ralphie ★ Posted August 3, 2015 Share #5 Posted August 3, 2015 I am afeared of those things from all the ones that my mother blew up in the 60s and 70s! I thought this thread was going to be about living in a married environment. And I figured Meatloaf/Phil Esposito.

kingtermite Posted August 3, 2015 Share #9 Posted August 3, 2015 I have a regular manual one, but literally never tried it. I would like to get an electric/fuzzy logic one like that to help remove the danger aspect.
Airehead Posted August 3, 2015 Author Share #10 Posted August 3, 2015 KT, apparently that is what mother of Airehead thought when she bought this one. Something about she knew I lost my common sense when I got the doctorate.
kingtermite Posted August 3, 2015 Share #11 Posted August 3, 2015 (edited) KT, apparently that is what mother of Airehead thought when she bought this one. Something about she knew I lost my common sense when I got the doctorate. Some of my family said the same about me when I got my Masters, but then again, few of them even made it past high school. Of course there is also the story that when I was in grad school my major prof started asking me of I wanted to join the PhD program. I was kind of proud that he wanted me and telling a friend of mine. He was looking at me funny and smiling because he could see how *I* felt about it. Then after a while he asked me what "PHD" was. He'd never heard the term. Edited August 3, 2015 by kingtermite
