Randomguy Posted September 23, 2013 Author Share #3 Posted September 23, 2013 what are you getting nostaglic or something? When I went to Ohio, I unearthed a box of cd's that have been sitting in the garage for 7 years. I left them there when I moved to NYC, thinking I would grab them as soon as I was settled and sell them while they still had a little value. Longjohn ★ Posted September 23, 2013 Share #4 Posted September 23, 2013 I was listening to cds for awhile this summer. My ipod died when I left it in the car in the hot sun one too many times. I had forgotten what a pita it was changing cds all the time. My wife got me an iphone so now I just plug that into the system in the car.

Yeah, definitely a pain in the butt. it is interesting how much better cd's sound than the ipod, I guess all that data does do something after all. I had forgetten that sometimes artists create moods over several tracks rather than just do one song. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.

It's kind of funny, I have 2 SD slots on the new car to play tunes, and the iPod integration and the Aux port and a CD Changer, by far the best sound quality comes from the SD slots. Mr. Silly Posted September 24, 2013 Share #10 Posted September 24, 2013 I'm still on CD technology in the car. I have a Sansa that I like when I'm on the trainer. I tried using it in the car but the battery only lasts about 8 hours. It left me high and dry on my trip to West Virginia.
