LoneWolf Posted September 22, 2015 Share #1 Posted September 22, 2015 (edited) Thing I won. I was at a meetup/conference for a server podcast/forum I frequent several weeks ago in Indianapolis, and won a Lenovo ThinkServer TS140 with an Intel Xeon. Of course, now I have to actually spend money adding storage, RAM, and generally making it badass. Edited September 22, 2015 by LoneWolf
Pokey Posted September 22, 2015 Share #2 Posted September 22, 2015 For some reason, I don't hear "upset" in your voice when reading about making this thing badass.
LoneWolf Posted September 22, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted September 22, 2015 My wallet could be happier, but I'm enjoying it. I already have one server (my little "Borg Cube" HP Microserver Gen8), but this will be a fun project box for experimenting. I'll probably run virtual systems on it to play around with. Thaddeus Kosciuszko Posted September 22, 2015 Share #5 Posted September 22, 2015 Thing I won. I was at a meetup/conference for a server podcast/forum. Wow! They give out really really good prizes on that Forum, unlike another Forum I know.
