1st World Christmas Problem in Greenville

I decided I wanted a vintage aluminum Christmas tree. Got lucky on my initial search and found 1 in my own neighborhood.

B tree, B price.

I can do better, thought I.

So I educated myself on what brand, how many branches, how much $.

Problem is, they are very popular now. I'm not the only one wanting to be transported back in time to Christmas 1977. :(

But, I am only willing to pay a certain amount.

The battle now rages for my desire to relive the past against my desire to not pay too much.

But, I also want my aluminum tree tonight. :(

Exactly what I want and with the wheel dead on budget.

Who in the world is going to buy from Chicago? :(

Interestingly, its about five minutes from my dads house. What do you think shipping would cost? If I knew last week, I could have picked it up and met you in Clarksville. You could have taken the last train. :D

Huh? No to your neighbor's tree? Or no to the one in Chicago? I just went to show my wife the Craigslist add and its already gone. You weren't kidding those things are hot ticket items. Unless you bought it. ;)

Cheese knows his stuff. :)

I went to see neighbor's tree and it was obvious be had been in the eggnog.
