Couch Having diabetes doesn't means you shouldn't eat anything sweet? It's all about the carb. Carbs are the main thing that produces spikes in blood sugar. Sweets are big in simple carbs, but that only means a diabetic has to be careful with them. Breads are as bad or worse.
The_Karen_Cooper_Incident Posted December 5, 2013 Share #8 Posted December 5, 2013 Why do people who don't have diabetes always have the misconception that having diabetes means you shouldn't eat anything sweet? It's all about the carb. Carbs are the main thing that produces spikes in blood sugar. Sweets are big in simple carbs, but that only means a diabetic has to be careful with them. Breads are as bad or worse. Bob flops around after eating sweets. It's his thing. Couch

kingtermite Posted December 5, 2013 Share #13 Posted December 5, 2013 Besides, I'm unbelievably lazy and really don't want to put forth the effort. Couch I should have realized that with a name like 'Couch', you'd be a completely lazy type. At least you didn't take the name 'bed'. You'd probably be comatose or something.
