Popular Post UglyBob Posted November 30, 2015 Popular Post Share #1 Posted November 30, 2015 I did quite a bit of hiking around out at Alamo Lake looking for the wild burros. There was a baby jack born out there this spring and I wanted to see if I could get some pictures. I found the group without much trouble. The little one in the middle is the one born in the spring. This is one of the adult jacks. This is the whole group... two jacks, two jennys, and the baby jack. 11

Pokey Posted November 30, 2015 Share #4 Posted November 30, 2015 When my dad came back from WW11, he had a job at a check station for elk hunters in Co. As the hunters came back to have their harvest tagged, he check license tags and the expired critter. One guy came in all excited about his first elk. Pop looked at his car, asked where the elk was. City slicker hunter: "In the trunk". Dad: "Hmmm.. Would you open the trunk so I can check the animal?" City Slicker hunter: "Sure" Poor bastard had shot a burro, thinking it was an elk. Pop tagged it for him. Have a nice day. 1 1

Randomguy Posted December 14, 2018 Share #20 Posted December 14, 2018 I think it would be confusing for the burros if all the boys are named Jack and the chicks are all named Jenny.
