kingtermite Posted December 13, 2013 Share #2 Posted December 13, 2013 I don't see a problem with it. It may work into more, if not, it's just a nice healthy fun friendship. Just don't do it with a crazy person.
KrAzY Posted December 13, 2013 Share #3 Posted December 13, 2013 depends on who your friend is. Is it someone whom you two might be together in the future? Or are you deciding to just stay in the friend zone?

Randomguy Posted December 13, 2013 Share #18 Posted December 13, 2013 I think it is a grand idea! Actually, it depends. If the friendship is dependent on the benefits, then it is great! If you have been friends for years, not so great. If you both know that you are continuing to look for others and you are fulfilling a biological need in a fun way, then sure. If either becomes interested, then you gotta spill, but wth, right?
Road Runner Posted December 13, 2013 Share #19 Posted December 13, 2013 It didn't work with Jerry and Elaine and they even went so far as to set up groundrules for the relationship (sleeping over okay but not required, etc).

Thank god we are using sit coms as our golden standard for what to do in life. By the way....I did qualify my first response with "as long as they aren't crazy". Elaine was CRAZY! goldendesign Posted December 13, 2013 Share #23 Posted December 13, 2013 Only worked for me with women who were not in my core group of friends. Usual causal acquaintances that I knew well enough but hadn't had half decade or more knowledge of. Kept it very strict, no PDA, no buying of gifts, no leaving items at each others places, and above all if the other felt the least been romantically inclined then they should express the feelings immediately. No beating around the bush. Happened once and it turned into a nice two year relationship. All in all, puck buddies, can be healthy and fun. Former member Posted December 13, 2013 Share #24 Posted December 13, 2013 Just don't do it with a crazy person.I wish I knew this before I met Katrina(AKA Hurricane Katrina). She's crazy, but so hot that I would probably ignored the advice anyway.
az_cyclist Posted December 13, 2013 Share #25 Posted December 13, 2013 In my opinion it could work out, but rarely. It is likely that one or the other will want the relationship to deepen.

Thaddeus Kosciuszko Posted December 14, 2013 Share #28 Posted December 14, 2013 Given the way things are going over at healthcare.gov, I'd say if you got a friend that can get you benefits then don't bother wasting your time with the website.
