"Chili pot pie really does a number on me" he thought as he reached for the freshener. "It sure smells like Texas here now" he softly chuckled to himself as he left the bathroom, leaving the toilet unflushed. Still dark outside, little beams of light began to softly illuminate the drifting dust particles near the window in the kitchen as the sun slowly rose from the horizon. These were not the windows he wanted, but they were the windows he had. With winter's chill in the air, he was glad he had windows at all. "People in China don't have windows, you little heathen" he would remember his mother saying when he complained about non-casement windows as a small child. "Sometimes she could be so unreasonable about windows", he thought, "A savage in a modern world". He assembled the ingredients for his favorite breakfast and began pouring and unwrapping, and in no time at all, he had his usual breakfast ready. It was a Cheese specialty, the Swiss Cake Roll milkshake with a single Nutty Bar as a garnish, having consumed the other Nutty Bar as he prepared it. He made this most mornings, and was rightfully proud of it. Cheese often thought of opening a restaurant where he would only offer food with Little Debbie's as a featured ingredient, but he knew that the world was not yet ready for Strawberry Shortcake/Oatmeal Creme Pie omelettes in the morning or Zebra Cake stew for lunch. "Only an advanced society, or possibly aliens, could see the genius of this" he thought, hopefully.
