One thing the City Council does right every year. Lots of people. Lots of fireworks. Anyhow, after they were over I decided I was through for the night so I started walking down the beach, listening to the wind and the surf. Note to self...it's a long way home walking on the beach when you're 'under the weather'. Took me an hour. But it was a great way to start the new year.
