Popular Post Dirtyhip Posted July 11, 2016 Popular Post Share #1 Posted July 11, 2016 Not sure what is up lately. I went many years and an enduro season with minimal issues....thankfully. Lately, It's almost like I can't MTB without tearing shit up. OK, I am slightly exaggerating. Yesterday went fine. The day before, I drove a furniture nail into my tire. On an up note, my flat was fixed by a very experienced MTB chick.

Nate Posted July 11, 2016 Share #4 Posted July 11, 2016 its like that...you go 3 seasons with no flats then flat 3 times in a week. when I hit a run of bad luck like that, I just check to make sure there isn't a shard of glass or metal stuck in my tire casing somewhere. And if I can't find one, I buy a new tire for luck
Dirtyhip Posted July 11, 2016 Author Share #5 Posted July 11, 2016 It is far beyond a flat or two. 3 wheel repairs so far this year.
maddmaxx ★ Posted July 11, 2016 Share #6 Posted July 11, 2016 Fixing/building wheels was the most fun and rewarding thing I ever learned about bicycling. It sure beats pulling out stuck bottom brackets.
smudge ★ Posted July 11, 2016 Share #7 Posted July 11, 2016 I think your schralping is getting so intense, your bike can't keep up with you. Even that fancy schmancy one! (yes, I still have bike envy.)

Further Posted July 11, 2016 Share #9 Posted July 11, 2016 Ya need redundancy, two bikes means one can be in the shop and the other on the trail. Three adds another layer of protection.

My old S10 had a slow leak in the left front tire, Aldis had 12volt air compressors for about ten bucks. Problem solved.
