Ralphie ★ Posted July 16, 2016 Share #1 Posted July 16, 2016 Good stuff! Cheese should be happy that Phil Mickelson is up there, and just sunk a long par putt.

And he would be the oldest since 1860 something to win if he wins. I like watching the British Open because it is always hot as hell outside when it is on. They just call it The Open, I think to make the distinction from the US Open, that The Open was first and is the only real championship of golf. They even call the winner, "The 2016 Champion of Golf" or some such, as if the Masters, PGA and US Open don't matter..

Yeah, I noticed the name change, but I usually lag a few years behind.
tybeegb Posted July 17, 2016 Share #7 Posted July 17, 2016 Yep. Between that and the Velocity channel. I don't think Mickelson or Stenson will win it. I'd rather see Haas take it.
Road Runner Posted July 17, 2016 Share #8 Posted July 17, 2016 When they interview Stenson, he seems kind of uppity, especially for someone who is 40 and has never won a major. I am rooting against him.

Wilbur ★ Posted July 17, 2016 Share #17 Posted July 17, 2016 The PGA tour sucked when it seemed Tiger would dominate for two decades. Much more enjoyable to watch without him.
