Further Posted July 16, 2016 Share #1 Posted July 16, 2016 I never have, but it looks like a rush. Years back I had a canoe, and talked my daughter into going out on a local 100 acre lake with me. The stars aligned, or possibly the right invocation was quoted, at any rate we were trying to make the boat go "that way" without much success. With no change in effort, or volume of cussing, the damn boat was flying across the lake. We were up on plane! Could have pulled a water skier! The dam was coming fast, we hadn't a clue how to turn, so we stopped. Struggled back to the parking lot. Never went that fast in a canoe again. But I'll never forget that quarter mile of pure joy with Annie.
Randomguy Posted July 16, 2016 Share #2 Posted July 16, 2016 I love canoes, but intensely dislike rowboats. I have a feeling that I wouldn't like kayaks, either.
Wilbur ★ Posted July 16, 2016 Share #3 Posted July 16, 2016 Sculling? Nope, but I would love to try it. I used to paddle dragon boats in Vancouver but am far from that now. My daughters and I do a lot of kayaking. I find it fun and relaxing.
