Airehead Posted July 17, 2016 Share #2 Posted July 17, 2016 This is definitely a little black dress moment but that little black could be any solid color. No patterns.
maddmaxx ★ Posted July 18, 2016 Share #3 Posted July 18, 2016 I'd loan you one of mine but I'm 6' tall and it's doubtful that it would fit.
Longjohn ★ Posted July 18, 2016 Share #4 Posted July 18, 2016 Don't look at me, I don't even own a little black dress.
Kirby Posted July 18, 2016 Share #5 Posted July 18, 2016 An LBD is a safe choice. You could probably also get away with dressy black pants (maybe some of the wide leg, palazzo type pants), but then you'd need a real "cocktail" type top which would be fancier than an average nice top. Agree with Aire that a solid dress would also work (I was at a cocktail reception recently, and in a sea of black, one woman really stood out in an elegant, simple red dress).
Further Posted July 18, 2016 Share #6 Posted July 18, 2016 I have a little black suit that may fit. I'm pretty short and getting shorter.
