I just needed to say that sometimes my job sucks.  I can't say that many places.   Watching staff work so hard and care so much.  Sometimes we still lose.  Today we lost twice .

and if you don't have to do a dangerous job, that makes for a lot of good days

I am not sure how many more  times I can make these calls and say the words-- transported by ambulance........

I'm really not sure if I should still be doing this work. I don't remember it hurting this much in the past.  I need sleep and maybe ice cream.

...it's a legit concern.  I saw guys in fire who worked at it 25-30 years.  The only way you can successfully do that is to go full emotional disconnect.  I was reaching my limits at about ten.

Sorry to hear this Aire, you're good for the job though at times it can get to you.  Don't lose faith in your work, you do good.
