Nate Posted September 27, 2013 Share #7 Posted September 27, 2013 so you are making actual tea from leaves! I've never had tea like that. I mean as fresh as those leaves and made like that they don't grow tea trees here. Is that what they are, a tree? or more like a bush?
petitepedal ★ Posted September 27, 2013 Author Share #8 Posted September 27, 2013 I buy most of my tea from Tea Source http://www.teasource.com/ That place smells fantastic!

It is a tree, though usually trimmed and cultivated to be waist height. Easier to pick leaves. They buy them fresh from a market then dried in their house. Nate Posted September 27, 2013 Share #10 Posted September 27, 2013 that sounds like a real treat I drank tea all my life and I never saw a tea tree I make a jug every day for more than 20 years. Boil water, use tea bags, add sugar while the water's hot, then in the jug: fresh ice tea for the rest of the day. In summer months I throw in some mint leaves from around the yard

Nate Posted September 27, 2013 Share #16 Posted September 27, 2013 You never do the sun tea thing? no. not at all. my simple method takes about 10 minutes, and since its a daily chore I've done for a couple decades now, I just do it I even reuse empty plastic gallon jugs. I'll either wash out milk jugs or I get a jug lemonade of something and reuse that for a while
