Popular Post F_in Ray Of Sunshine Posted January 8, 2017 Popular Post Share #1 Posted January 8, 2017 He gets a half a can of canned (duh) food every morning. A half can of This crap. Apparently there are peas in it, and apparently he doesn't like them because I keep finding them on the floor. Zöe used to be able to surgically extract the vegetables and leave them in the dish. Seems like the young Jedi never achieved Obi-Wan's level of Pea Rejection.
team scooter Posted January 8, 2017 Share #2 Posted January 8, 2017 Scooter has always hated peas and leaves his on the floor. But when we got Nena, she was eight months old and skin and bones. She's more than thankful to eat her peas. And clean up Scooter's peas too.

smudge Posted January 8, 2017 Share #5 Posted January 8, 2017 We had a dog who loved peas. Well, peas fresh out of the garden! Stood there and whined and whined until I threw produce to him. Peas, beans, cucumbers, carrots.... loved them all.

Airehead Posted January 8, 2017 Share #7 Posted January 8, 2017 BAron used to do that when we fed him this to try to get him to eat more of his real food. Tillie scooped them up off the floor like a treat. Apparently he liked red jacket potatoes because he never left those.
2Far Posted January 9, 2017 Share #8 Posted January 9, 2017 Rose the Doberman loved a little spaghetti sauce in her food. Occasionally the sauce would have mushrooms in it. Rose the Doberman didn't like mushrooms. At the end of her meal, her bowl would be licked clean and there would be a pile of mushrooms (devoid of any sauce) in a neat pile next to the dish.

Just amazing how dogs can do that.

If you gave her the whole seed she would crack it open, extract the seed and spit out the shell. I've sever seen a dog do that before or since.

Any time I'm making a salad, as soon as the bag comes out, he's there. He doesn't NOT like fresh spinach....but Zöe did. She also like hot stuff and he just backs away and gives me the "you're trying to kill me" face. It was always amusing to put some Sriracha on my finger and offer it to him....then when he backed away, offer it to Zöe - who would eat it. He'd stand there and look at her in amazement: "No way! You eat that stuff?"
