Square Wheels Posted January 13, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 13, 2017 We have a doorbell downstairs. We can't hear it upstairs so I put in a sensor inside the doorbell that will set off several others in the house. It's activated by sound. Apparently in the middle of the night there was a mass suicide in our kitchen. It set off the doorbell. The wife and I agreed it was probably just the cats playing and went back to sleep. This is what I woke to a 3:30.
Square Wheels Posted January 13, 2017 Author Share #2 Posted January 13, 2017 It's worse than it looks, that's a container that used to have chicken broth in it. That was all over the floor. Several bottles of teriyaki and soy soy, made for a nice sticky mess. Did a quickie clean for about an hour, then left for work. I suspect we'll be cleaning this for weeks. Kzoo Posted January 13, 2017 Share #6 Posted January 13, 2017 You had Kirby build your cabinets? Even she would have thought that a bad idea. She should be able to help you fix it though. She has LOTS of experience there too.
Square Wheels Posted January 13, 2017 Author Share #7 Posted January 13, 2017 I think the cats were innocent this time. Silly plastic clips, looks like the two in the front let go. I will be doing some clip replacement this weekend before we have more messes.

Oh yeah, I had that happen in the garage with brittle plastic mounts on those ClosetMaid wire shelves. Dented the hood of the van and made a mell of a hess! Kirby is the expert. I knew this thread belonged in this forum.
Road Runner Posted January 13, 2017 Share #11 Posted January 13, 2017 This sort of stuff is one reason I retained and refurbished my old world, hand-built cabinets vice replacing them with modern versions. You could put 100 lbs on any of my shelves and they ain't going nowhere.
