Popular Post Dirtyhip Posted January 13, 2017 Popular Post Share #1 Posted January 13, 2017 They had two left. I should get it next week. I let the shop know "Do NOT open my Specialized box. I like to sniff the communist air." I found some 3.0 studded tires that I may order from 45NRTH. Let the fun begin. The bike is red.

We will see how it goes.
smudge Posted January 13, 2017 Share #9 Posted January 13, 2017 Even though your primary purpose for this purchase is commuter, I think it's going to be a fun bike for you. Not super intense like Brutus, but not as heavy and slow as Helga.

Also, I grossly underestimated my need for a fuller tire, this Winter.

The bike is red. ...a word of friendly advice. It's common knowledge that the CEO of Specialized made the Faustian bargain many years ago. It wouldn't hurt to have a priest do an exorcism on your new, red bike before you actually touch it and risk transference of the small demon spirit that Specialized engineers into all their production bicycles. Further Posted January 14, 2017 Share #41 Posted January 14, 2017 That bike has a presence, I'd call it Grace & Guns, the prettiest little waife you could imagine, holding the meanest shotgun you've ever seen.
