petitepedal ★ Posted January 13, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 13, 2017 Came from the company that repairs other floors in the building..gypecrete? so the sent this guy who works concrete out...I am not sure they will cover the cost of what this guy implied...but he took a video and a couple of picture...also checked out the garage.... I sent an e-mail to the property manager and said I hoped they would take into account their suggestions and act on this in a timely manor since I want to put my place back together....and I was not aware of the size and scope of the crack when I started this project... Popular Post Kzoo Posted January 13, 2017 Popular Post Share #2 Posted January 13, 2017 Have you read your condo agreement? Don't settle for what they say - deal with the written agreement that the association signed. Hold them to the agreement if you need to.

Further Posted January 13, 2017 Share #4 Posted January 13, 2017 Are they talking structural damage ? Do any other condos have similar problems ? Could this go back against the builder ? You need TK to weigh in on this.

The builder is probably long gone and has dissolved and formed several different corporations since then to legally and sleazily protect his sorry ass. . Scrapr ★ Posted January 14, 2017 Share #8 Posted January 14, 2017 typical 10 year structural warranty on builders that is why sleazy lawyers troll condo owners at the 8 or 9 year mark. Lawyer ends up with millions. HO gets a coupon to Stop & Grab
petitepedal ★ Posted January 14, 2017 Author Share #9 Posted January 14, 2017 Building is between 30 and 40 years old...crack happened before the walls went up...FYI they replace gypcrete for residents who have bad floors on the non concrete levels....I am thinking leveling and filling this large crack is not the same cost as doing an entire floor with gypcrete....
