LoneWolf Posted January 13, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 13, 2017 I have found DFH to be hit or miss. I love that they take risks, that they experiment. But, I've found a lot of the experiments to be, well, lacking. And so when I see one of their beers I haven't tried coming my way, I'm always interested, but always cautious. This one's a freakin' A-plus from the picky lone wolf, and the best from DFH I've ever had. Limited edition, if you see it, get it while you can. It is a work of genius and art that has been bottled, and I'd love to larder some. In the words of Ferris Beuhler "It's so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking some up." Dogfish Head Beer for Breakfast Stout.
Ralphie ★ Posted January 13, 2017 Share #2 Posted January 13, 2017 I had that on draft at the awesome beer restaurant a month or so ago. I agree - damn good! Tonight I just opened my go to wheat beer - Troeg's Dreamweaver. Just perfect. Everybody who tries it loves it.
Ralphie ★ Posted January 14, 2017 Share #3 Posted January 14, 2017 Now it is Left Hand Fade to Black. Left Hand is (left) hands down my favourite brewery. I want to have its children. http://lefthandbrewing.com/about/history/
shotgun Posted January 14, 2017 Share #4 Posted January 14, 2017 It's a dirty martini Friday for me. Here's the one I'm finishing up - with organic handmade Red Arrow Vodka from Journeyman Distillery. And I don't want to hear any shit from you purists that think martinis should only be made with gin. I'm an equal opportunity martini maker.
