So he was sorta prepared. If he was "inbounds" he would not have needed a survival suit operator error on the other hand the pass that i go over once a week had 3 avalanches in the same morning. All happened in the same area after a heavy snowfall. Which is why i delay travel after big snows and on the other, other hand...a big dump truck & trailer jacknifed in that same spot on some ice yesterday SW is right. Don't go outside That happened to the cat guy, he was backcountry skiing in NZ with his daredevil friend who started an avalanche. He ended up with a head injury and torn up shoulder and knee.
