Was the night chicago died

I think the night Chicago died was the night before the day the music died, which was right about the time the lights went out in parts of Georgia. That might have been why she got on the midnight train out of the state. the 10 o'clock train was full that evening.

Also the same night they drove old Dixie down.  It was a rough night.

She drove her Chevy to the levy and it was dry.  So She couldn't go by boat.  She had to take the A-Train.

If she wanted to get to where her daddy was a cop on the east side of Chicago, she'd need a boat. The locals call the east side Lake Michigan. ;)
