My insurance company asked me over the phone where I keep my guns. I responded with "like I am going to tell you that, do you want my SS number too? How about my credit card information? I don't even know you, there is no way I'm telling you that." They acted all offended.  :runcirclsmiley:

Ok, now I get your drift. You want to know what we keep important papers in, things like deeds, titles, birth certificates, marriage license. That's different, that shit isn't valuable, just a pita to replace in case of a fire. I have a fireproof box that my dad gave me, he said I needed it. I also have a big ass fireproof desk that I have some stuff in.

I simply don't have any valuables.  1st world problem solved.

To retire I needed all kind of paper shit that I don't think I should have needed. Birth certificates for both me and my wife, WTF she didn't retire I did. Marriage license? Another WTF, and they wanted a copy of my original SS card. I actually still have my original SS card, the one that says: "not to be used for identification purposes ". I can't see any reason why they would need that stuff other than they just like to piss with you. This would be a good subject for a rant but I'm not up to it.
