Popular Post sheep_herder ★ Posted January 19, 2017 Popular Post Share #1 Posted January 19, 2017 Temperatures are warmer and that helps. We have 30+ lambs in the barn and 4 in the house and hope to turn some out tomorrow. The big ones are starting to run and play. Seven were born last night and early this morning. I found a single and set of twins on the last check during the night and two sets of twins at the early morning check. We may get some photos over the weekend or early next week. The inside pen is next to the computer room, and they are fighting sleep and jumping as I type this note. They were fed a bit ago, so sleep should be coming soon.
Scrapr ★ Posted January 19, 2017 Share #2 Posted January 19, 2017 That is so cool you bring the lambs in the house Do you cover them in a blanket? Do you name them?
sheep_herder ★ Posted January 19, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted January 19, 2017 A few get names, but not a lot of them. We have been calling the one Angel that was born on Christmas day. However, she is a handful and has not wanted a supplemental bottle since she was let out of her pen. We often name them by color or size, just so we can communicate to each other, as to what lamb we are describing.
