Firehouse Subs

Definitely the best subs. One 2 miles from Cheesewick Estate, about 1 mile passed my comfort zone. Their turkey and cheese is delicious, but they will put onions on it with their fully loaded.

I always stress, fully loaded but NO ONIONS PLEASE. 6 months ago I got home and it had onions.

I threw it out in the yard and it took me 5 months to go back. I'd go there tonight but there's that extra mile.   :(

A Firehouse Sub shop recently opened near here. The brisket & cheddar is possibly the best sandwich I've ever bought.

Ever tried it ?

It's not bad, but the New York Steamer is better. Corned beef brisket, pastrami, melted provolone, deli mustard, mayo, and Italian dressing.

I'm sorry. I'm never buying a sub with the phrase steamer in it

No "Upper Deckers" either

While I admit that's why I won't buy those "Cafe Steamer" bowls they sell in the grocery store, that sub rocks.

Pastrami and corned beef are just too difficult to turn down.
