Judy675 Posted February 9, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 9, 2017 I am always being out in the open with training and that has bought horrible sinus infection. I've had a runny nose and a hoarse voice for the past three days. I can actually breathe fine, but the pressure behind my ear is so great that my hearing in the ear has been reduced to about 30%. Any meds or treatment anyone can recommend to reduce the inflammation? I recently read in a blog- http://www.rhinoplasty.ca/2016/09/26/rhinoplasty-recommended-sinusitis-patients/ that rhinoplasty procedure will help for sinusitis. What are you guy's experiences with cycling and dealing with such sinus problems? Has anyone taken rhinoplasty procedure for sinusitis? Please share your thoughts. Longjohn ★ Posted February 9, 2017 Share #2 Posted February 9, 2017 I have never had a need for rhinoplasty, the only rhinos I have seen were in the zoo. It's really strange because when I saw them they were eating Spam. I thought they were vegetarians?
Wilbur ★ Posted February 9, 2017 Share #3 Posted February 9, 2017 I think I am now qualified to answer this for Judy if she is real. Are you real Judy?

You could pinch her and see if she is real. How are you making out since your surgery?

Not bad LJ but not perfect either. I can breathe now so that is awesome. I did get a nasty post op infection that required heavy duty antibiotics. I would do it again though so it must have been a success.
