Ralphie ★ Posted March 5, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 5, 2017 I was all set to make pancakes, but daughter #1 wanted bagels from the bagel shop. I normally get an apple cinnamon and just have it with butter/PB/jelly, but I got what she gets, an everything with lox cream cheese. Not bad, but I was in the mood for pancakes, dammit! Next time I want to try the jalapeno cream cheese since sadly they don;t make jalapeno bagels.
Dirtyhip Posted March 5, 2017 Share #2 Posted March 5, 2017 I love bagels. They are a food that I can barely control myself around. Pancakes are tasty too. The ones I made last weekend were pretty impressive. They rose so high and were fluffy as heck. Speaking of bready things, I started dough last night. I blame @petitepedal for this.
Ralphie ★ Posted March 5, 2017 Author Share #3 Posted March 5, 2017 Bready stuff is pretty darn awesome. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, great as a condiment.

Prophet Zacharia Posted March 5, 2017 Share #6 Posted March 5, 2017 I had wings. After the gym. They were in the fridge, and I am frugal when it comes to wasting food.
Dirtyhip Posted March 5, 2017 Share #7 Posted March 5, 2017 I actually had oatmeal with walnuts in it. A wee bit of dried maple was the sweetener. I like buying the dried maple from Vermont. It is a tasty sweetener for all kinds of things.
Caretaker Posted March 5, 2017 Share #8 Posted March 5, 2017 Two eggs scrambled, on toast. I have it every Sunday religiously.
maddmaxx ★ Posted March 5, 2017 Share #9 Posted March 5, 2017 I skipped breakfast (not true, I had a banana) and went to a small Italian bistro for brunch. Jack the 80 year old chef prepares some very interesting Italian food the old fashioned way. He was at the market before 4 this morning. I tries to have a very little sample of each thing. I didn't eat any bread though SW.
