BuffJim Posted March 19, 2017 Share #2 Posted March 19, 2017 I had three fried eggs with Salsa Verde. Followed by a 40 minute walk on the beach. Rest of the family is just waking up.

Rattlecan ★ Posted March 19, 2017 Share #8 Posted March 19, 2017 I got my annual jug of fresh maple syrup this week, so we had to give it the trial run today. French toast with bacon goes good with it.

Digital_photog ★ Posted March 19, 2017 Author Share #10 Posted March 19, 2017 I have a deal with an Amish neighbor. He has used my evaporator the last few years. It is still a small 2x6 ft King evaporator but now has a pre-heater on it and reverse osmosis to take out 80% of the water. Instead of making 20 to 30 gallons a year this year we made about 90 gallons. I help a little but he does most of the work. I get a percentage of the syrup for the use of my equipment. Didn't take long to have it all sold.
