Popular Post Longjohn ★ Posted March 20, 2017 Popular Post Share #1 Posted March 20, 2017 Granddaughter turns nine years old today. Some friends of my son invited him to have her party at their house and use the pool. They just invited one other family to the party and my wife and I but my wife has to get up too early so she didn't go. Between the two families they have ten children so that was plenty of excitement for the pool party. I was busy lifeguarding so didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked but here are a few. The pool birthday girl birthday girl again, she got girl stuff for her birthday and really liked it. The brothers misunderstood when they were told to wear their suits so they didn't swim. Here they are on my lap listening to me tell them how handsome they look while their mom was getting one of the girls ready.
ChrisL Posted March 20, 2017 Share #2 Posted March 20, 2017 Although I totally get it, I just can't wrap my head around indoor pools.... Ours are open year round. Looks like a good time!

smudge ★ Posted March 20, 2017 Share #7 Posted March 20, 2017 @Kzoo, I like that! I used to have to water the horses in the winter. We had a little hill from the house, and I had a toboggan run that went down the hill and curved at the water pump. I used to spray the toboggan run with water to try to make it faster. It didn't work real well.

Cute, I don't see why grandkids are so underrated? They are at least as good as retirement.

They all did, I was wondering how long it would take to get everyone out of the pool but they all got out and got dressed in a short time when told it was time to go. There is something you have to remember about kids from big families and we learn it fast. It never pays to dilly dally. Get to dinner late, there may not be any decent food left. Get to the car late and you will always get the worse seat. Get out of the pool late, parents will leave you behind. Heck with lots of kids, they may not even notice and you are definitely expendable.
