Kzoo Posted March 23, 2017 Share #1 Posted March 23, 2017 RG's drunken posting about phone usage got me to thinking. Do you do Netflix? Do you binge watch shows? If so what shows have you binged on? I don't have Netflix (no good reason - I need to correct that). I would be a binge watcher. And for full disclosure, this thread had nothing to do with RG's drunken ramblings..... Green Grass Posted March 23, 2017 Share #2 Posted March 23, 2017 I binge watched Breaking Bad a couple years ago. That's it. I watch House of Cards now, but not in a binge way. I'm in the early part of season 3. Haven't watched an episode in maybe a month.
bikeman564™ Posted March 23, 2017 Share #3 Posted March 23, 2017 No netflix, and I don't binge watch shows. My attention span is short.

I have a drunken rambling story for you that happened a couple of nights ago. I should do its own thread, though... I only know bingeing on Netflix, there is no other way. Dirtyhip Posted March 23, 2017 Share #6 Posted March 23, 2017 It's always sunny in Philadelphia, Parks and rec, Anthony Bordain and other cooking shows like Chef's Table, Stranger Things, and others. My guilty pleasure, T.V.on demand.
Square Wheels Posted March 23, 2017 Share #7 Posted March 23, 2017 We have Netflix, I like it a lot. We don't binge watch though. One show a day. Currently on Person of Interest.
groupw Posted March 23, 2017 Share #8 Posted March 23, 2017 I use Netflix once in a while. Rarely watch series let alone binge watch.
Dirtyhip Posted March 23, 2017 Share #9 Posted March 23, 2017 How does one define binge watching? I will watch 3 shows in a row. That is like less than an hour for a sitcom with no commercials.
TrentonMakes Posted March 23, 2017 Share #10 Posted March 23, 2017 We got Netflix when the 4th season of Arrested Development came out... we've been subscribers since. Between us and the kids it gets a fair amount of use. Probably never watched more than three consecutive episodes of anything, and usually no more than 2 half-hour shows. The first year was pretty decent, I thought, but then it went off the rails I thought.

Kzoo Posted March 23, 2017 Author Share #14 Posted March 23, 2017 I was a PofI fan for it's first few years. When the story line started to deviate to be about them instead of the people of interest, I lost interest.

Scrapr ★ Posted March 23, 2017 Share #16 Posted March 23, 2017 got it. Binged on Longmire. Daughter of one of our contractors/friends is on it. I didn't realize who she was until about the 4th episode or so. I told her Mom she needs to button up on the cleavage Lil Scrapr watches Netflix more than me. WoScrapr doesn't watch at all. It confuses her
Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted March 23, 2017 Share #17 Posted March 23, 2017 We tried Netflix last year and kicked it to the curb. I can't binge watch and I never liked watching tv just to pass the time. If it's not entertaining I find something else to do. Maybe when I'm bedridden and drooling I might watch something. Reverend_Maynard Posted March 23, 2017 Share #18 Posted March 23, 2017 I use netflix on my buddies account. If I had to pay for it, I wouldn't bother. We already watch far too many TV shows, so adding anymore just isn't something I'm interested in. Movies would be the reason for me to want it, but there are far too few A movies available for streaming, and far too many crappy B movies, made for TV movies, etc.
Further Posted March 23, 2017 Share #19 Posted March 23, 2017 We have it. Binged on Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Narcos, Blacklist, and probably a few others. My wife is big on Longmire and the Jessie Stone movies starring Tom Selleck.
