2Far ★ Posted April 28, 2017 Share #2 Posted April 28, 2017 A coupla years ago we had a pile of pigeon feathers appear under the bird feeder about once a week for ~5-6 weeks running. We were blaming the cats from the apartments behind us cuz we occasionally saw them eye-balling the buffet. Late one Saturday afternoon, I saw an unexpected shadow cross one of the windows. When I looked out, what to my wondering eyes should appear? A red-tailed hawk perched on the fence above the feeders. Mystery solved.

shotgun Posted April 28, 2017 Share #6 Posted April 28, 2017 I had a duck nesting in my back yard last year. I may or may not have chased her off when she returned this year.
