Popular Post KrAzY Posted May 10, 2017 Popular Post Share #1 Posted May 10, 2017 So I'm just chilling at my computer at work today... (some reason my office was running the AC and it was 68°F) Anywho.... I'm just sitting there and a spider come creeping down from the ceiling. I catch it in a jar that I have by my desk, and I closed it up nice and tight. I name my little friend Fred. We watched a couple youtube videos together and laughed at the silly people. My boss comes into my office to ask a question about tomorrow's work, picks up the jar and screams like a child not getting their way. He backs out slowly, and yells at me to get rid of the black widow spider immediately. I ask what's it hurting.. it's in a sealed jar and not bothering anyone... he said he does not care and told me no pets are a lower at work, and that is not a damn service animal. Before releasing Fred back into the wild, I fabricated him a work outfit, and tried to tell my boss Fred is a new employee. I also told him that he hurt Fred feelings. I then turned in Fred's apron, and a resignation letter. I will miss Fred
TrentonMakes Posted May 10, 2017 Share #2 Posted May 10, 2017 "no pets are allowed"... good grief. I wish more people were willing to live and let live when it comes to harmless insects and spiders.

I bet it was about as much of a black widow spider as my cat Gretel is a jaguar.

Not like I tried to bring my 60lbs Border Collie.

Reverend_Maynard Posted May 11, 2017 Share #12 Posted May 11, 2017 I'm a bit phobic of insects in general, but I try to give spiders a pass as much as possible. They eat the other, nastier bugs after all!
