I read about this somewhere and I started doing it sporadically, to see if it seemed to improve my workout. I'm convinced that it does help. For me, at least. On a pretty consistent basis, I have seen better average speeds and more overall energy and performance if I take a pill or two before my ride. Have you tried it?
