My dad loved that show, totally dig that intro.  My parents went to Hawaii and they stayed in the Ilikai, the hotel Jack Lord is at on the intro.

Sadly, the new show believes that violating the Bill of Rights is pro forma as long as it leads to arrests `cuz hey, that's more important than detective work, right? And beatin' people up is fun.

By the way, apparently terrorist plots happen regularly in Hawaii.  You'd think it'd seriously bring down the tourism industry.
