sheep_herder ★ Posted August 9, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 9, 2017 We have, along with many others. I usually eat at the one in Fort Collins, CO. It is conveniently located next door to Motel 6. Yum!!!!!
Randomguy Posted August 9, 2017 Share #2 Posted August 9, 2017 I love waffle house!!! First one I went to was in Colorado Springs. I posted this on bookface about a month or so ago, and it seems a fairly accurate description. I have seen one cook push another one in a rough way once, a fight could have happened afterward for all I know.

Further Posted August 9, 2017 Share #5 Posted August 9, 2017 I love Waffle House ! Not for every day, but once in a while it's a treat. Greasy Goodness.
Mr. Silly Posted August 9, 2017 Share #6 Posted August 9, 2017 We drove from MI to Florida and counted the Waffle House we could see as we drove down I-75. I forget the number but it was in the mid-60's. We only counted it if we saw the building; the number would have been higher if we counted the Waffle House signs. We ate breakfast at the Waffle House in Chattanooga. Unlike most Waffle House food, it plugged me up for a couple days. Three days later I was able to let loose and plugged a toilet in Orlando.

Zephyr Posted August 9, 2017 Share #19 Posted August 9, 2017 Never heard of it. Not a big waffle guy, so likely wouldn't notice it even if I drove by.

Waffles rule. There is a reason the Airedales are served waffles and not pancakes. Because they asked for them

maddmaxx ★ Posted August 9, 2017 Share #23 Posted August 9, 2017 There are no Waffle Houses in CT or the rest of New England or New York. The nearest may be near Allentown PA. We do have a Hash House at the Mohegan Sun Casino however where you can have the popular 3am Chicken and Waffles to fuel your late night gambling. Rattlecan ★ Posted August 9, 2017 Share #25 Posted August 9, 2017 Yeah, eaten there a bunch of times. Never tried the waffles, but bacon and eggs and hash browns are pretty cheap, and edible. After more than 40 years of surviving truck stop food, I can tell ya there are far worse places to eat.

2Far ★ Posted August 9, 2017 Share #27 Posted August 9, 2017 Not big enough into waffles, but I like my hashbrowns "all the way" (Scattered, Smothered, Covered, Chunked, Topped & Diced (Onions, Cheese, Ham, Chili and Diced Tomatoes)). A coupla over easy eggs on top if'n I'm extra ravenous.
TrentonMakes Posted August 9, 2017 Share #28 Posted August 9, 2017 I've never eaten at one either. I know there are Waffle Houses off I-95 and I-70 in Maryland (even eastern Maryland); despite our frequent travels on those routes we've never stopped. BuffJim Posted August 9, 2017 Share #31 Posted August 9, 2017 Been there a few times in my ramblings down south. Not bad, but when you spend $9 on breakfast, it better be good.

Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted August 9, 2017 Share #33 Posted August 9, 2017 I didn't eat at a Waffle House until I lived in Ohio. Son and I ate at several. Greasy breakfast fare is good once in a great while. I do like the jalapeno cheddar biscuits there. Favorite breakfast place to date is Kitchen Little in Mystic CT.
