i got you covered....

1) it is perpetually 1953 once you get an hour's drive away from Philly

2) we have pie. real pie. baked by old ladies who know how its done

3) this is the land of deli. If you can slice it and put it on a sub, we make the best of it right here

4) there's nothing but woods and farm fields between Philly and Pittsburgh

5) drivers actually share the road!

6) the little towns look like America is supposed to look. not like subdivisions.

7) if you live out of town, you can blow off the rest of America and live like its the 1800s

8) we actually have ferriers.

9) we got more deer than you do

10) Pennsylvania sports teams win alot of championships

Just a couples blocks east route 19.  I used to live a couple blocks east of 19....... 130 miles north of there.

I will ride a bike again, I can do it!!!  The new trainer will help, I will be on that tonight.  I will do this every day until I can conquer PA.  Well, every other day, probably.

I will attempt to conquer PA on bicycle, primarily with a longbow and a staff.

No, that's Canton Ave, which IIRC is the steepest "paved" road in the country. About two miles from where I live.

ok, ok...sheesh, once you're over 1 in 5 you're really just splitting hairs. There's 20% and up grades all around this state
