Digital_photog ★ Posted August 13, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 13, 2017 The International LA engine that I bought to power an ice cream freezer is cleaned up and about ready to start. There was a lot of sludge in the oil pan. I opened it up and cleaned it all out and put in new oil. Everything seems to be in good shape. It is now time to test the magneto to see if it is working. Who wants to help with the test? It is a very easy job. All you nee to do is hold on the spark plug wire while I crank the engine. I ordered a new 2 gallon Country Freezer ice cream maker and also the A frame drive to power it. Now just need to mount everything to the cart when it gets here. I may also hook up one of my 2 1.5 gallon White Mountain freezers to it too. If you will come and help with the magneto test I will make you some ice cream. This video is using a Witte engine. My Witte is 6 hp and way too big to use on an ice cream freezer.

I suppose you’re going to tell me to “taste” a 9 volt battery and pee on an electric fence, too, right?
