Randomguy Posted September 30, 2013 Author Share #9 Posted September 30, 2013 It's great. All the teas that Kirbie picked are fantastic. Well, hell, just what kind of teas is Kirbie picking and not letting us all in on???
Kirby Posted September 30, 2013 Share #10 Posted September 30, 2013 IIRC, the pineapple oolong is from Lupicia. It was part of DH's ChrisMarch gift. Today, I'm being very autumnal and drinking apple and molasses flavored black tea from Della Terra Teas. I tend to favor flavored teas, which make all the tea purists cringe. Randomguy Posted September 30, 2013 Author Share #13 Posted September 30, 2013 Monkey Picked Oolong from Teavana. I have had that before, I remember it being nice. I was a bit put off when I found that monkey's hadn't actually picked it, though.
petitepedal ★ Posted September 30, 2013 Share #14 Posted September 30, 2013 Monks blend with honey & lemon...a treat since I took today off..normally I skip the honey & lemon part. I too tend towards flavored teas..they are much easier to do just plain without milk, honey, sugar or lemon...which is my weekday standard! I was a bit put off when I found that monkey's hadn't actually picked it, though. it makes a nice cup of tea...and you can seep the leaves a second time too. So, you get two cups of tea for 1. Where did you get that carmel tea? I lost the tin, so I have no other explanation other than carmel tea.
az_cyclist Posted September 30, 2013 Share #17 Posted September 30, 2013 Is there any other way? I never tried Earl Grey with milk. I have had a chai latte a few times though

Kirby Posted September 30, 2013 Share #19 Posted September 30, 2013 Where did you get that carmel tea? I lost the tin, so I have no other explanation other than carmel tea. Hmmm, caramel tea is one of my faves (probably tied with vanilla) , so I have lots of different ones that I try. I'm not sure which one I sent you, but some of my current faves are Kusmi caramel, Tea Smith's Carmelita, Della Terra's Caramel Cream, and even Bigelow's Vanilla Caramel when I want some easy bagged tea for work. I may have sent you a cream caramel rooibos from Zen Tea Life, I like that for when I want less caffeine.
goldendesign Posted September 30, 2013 Share #20 Posted September 30, 2013 This with another leaf freshly dried, dunno what kind. Two scoops of the bag and one of the fresh in a traditional double pot:
