ChrisL Posted August 15, 2017 Share #9 Posted August 15, 2017 I've been mixing things up a bit too. I often eat bfast not because I'm hungry but because we (diabetics) are supposed to. But I often find I eat way more in the morning than I should. So I have a protein bar that is about 200 calories and low in carbs in the morning with my meds. Why don't you fast for a whole day instead and give your system a rest? I have found that it is easier for me to go into total food-denial mode than to eat lightly throughout the day.
