Scrapr ★ Posted August 20, 2017 Share #4 Posted August 20, 2017 I suspect there may be some money making opportunities here rebrand the "Thunder shirts" to Eclipse relief snugglies first: get a million Thunder Shirts.....
sheep_herder ★ Posted August 20, 2017 Share #5 Posted August 20, 2017 If they are asleep on the porch under the ceiling fan (Rusty and Twinkles) or behind the loom (Redhead) with the curtains pulled, they will likely never know it is happening. That is often their nap time after their morning outing.
team scooter Posted August 20, 2017 Share #6 Posted August 20, 2017 If our dogs notice someone looking at the sky, they'll look too. And ever since the Turkey Vulture shadow incident, Scoot keeps his eye on the skies and even barks at airplanes.
jsharr ★ Posted August 20, 2017 Share #7 Posted August 20, 2017 Romeo will freak the freak out over just about anything. The other night I found him in our backyard losing his mind over a branch that fell out of the tree. This week Wade mowed the back yard and knocked the birdbath over. A bit later I went out and Romeo was freaking out and barking at the knocked over bird bath. That said I am not sure that Romeo is smart enough to know that the sun even exists so the chance of him freaking out over an eclipse is limited at best.
Chris... Posted August 20, 2017 Share #8 Posted August 20, 2017 I'm sure the store will be out of bread and milk. I saw a list of do's and don'ts on Facebook. One of them was don't drive with eclipse glasses on.

Longjohn ★ Posted August 20, 2017 Share #12 Posted August 20, 2017 Protect the horses from the sun during the eclipse. It is so much more dangerous when the moon is covering it, than say, on a normal sunny day...this valuable advice was too important not to share! 1
Kirby Posted August 21, 2017 Share #13 Posted August 21, 2017 My cat is curently full of steroid rage since he's taking some medicine for a skin issue. He could kill me at any moment without the extra provocation of an eclipse. Luckily I'll be at work and miss all the fun.

ChrisL Posted August 21, 2017 Share #16 Posted August 21, 2017 It's supposed to be overcast tomorrow morning and we only get 60% coverag so not likely well even see a huge difference. Jack, well he's normally napping then so not likely he'll notice either.
