Randomguy Posted August 21, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 21, 2017 They never sounded good to me, the highs were always shrill. All this eklipsch stuff is what made me think of them, btw.

Indy Posted August 21, 2017 Share #4 Posted August 21, 2017 Of course they are the best, they are based in Indianapolis.
Indy Posted August 21, 2017 Share #5 Posted August 21, 2017 A lot of their setups use horn tweeters, that's why the highs sound like that, but I've got a satellite setup that doesn't use them and they sound great. I've never been a fan of horn tweeters either, I think domes sound so much smoother and crisper. Some ribbon setups aren't bad either.
LoneWolf Posted August 21, 2017 Share #6 Posted August 21, 2017 For PC multimedia, they have about the highest ratings of anyone. Of course, my budget has kept me holding on to a Logitech 5.1 surround set I got some years ago on closeout for $30 (over half off).
