Wilbur ★ Posted August 24, 2017 Share #1 Posted August 24, 2017 ..that in two generations, you won't be known and may even be forgotten? Yes, SuzieQ's post reminded me of a thought I once had on this. "Enjoy your life now, because in 75 years, no one will give a crap!

Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted August 24, 2017 Share #3 Posted August 24, 2017 I am aware of that and don't really care. I remember visiting Westminster Abbey in London. The church holds many crypts and mausoleums. Some famous, some not. The ones you never heard of were big shits in their day to have been buried there but hundreds of years later, just a name on a stone with fancy carvings. The pig farmers who lived at the same time as these people are the same kind of dead as all the kings and queens buried in the church.
smudge ★ Posted August 24, 2017 Share #4 Posted August 24, 2017 Ya, I'm aware of that. But I believe in the "It's a Wonderful Life" effect. I'm hoping to leave good vibes in my past for others to spread. Ya, I have a hearty temper, but it's only for idiots. So overall, I hope to leave good vibes behind.
