Weekend plans...

I have an appearance at a gallery out in Carefree on Saturday. It's an interview, reading and Q&A session. Hopefully, I'll also sell and sign a few books. Sunday, I might actually get out for a ride (even though we're supposed to hit 110 degrees again).

2 Dates with BuffCarla:

Going to the Egyptian Festival in my town tonight. Get some Egyptian food.

Going with our church group to Skaneateles NY for a 3 hour tour on a bit, lunch at a fine restaurant and some shopping time tomorrow.

Watching Harvey all my other free moments.

It is a Bank Holiday weekend in the UK, is it where you are? Only thing special I'm doing is meeting an old friend on Monday, having a trip to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, even if the art is not to my liking, the landscape allus hits the spot.

No.  Real first world countries don't have Bank Holidays.  Our banks use computers and they don't need holidays.

Tonight going to see The Funky Butt Brass Band. They do New Orleans style music. One of the band members is a close friend of my son and we all rode across Missouri on the Katy Trail a couple of years ago.

Long group ride tomorrow morning.

Saturday evening going to see El Monstero who are a Pink Floyd tribute band.

Sunday a long walk with WoJSTL somewhere like the Katy Trail. We have a half marathon in a couple of weeks so I should start training.
