Ralphie ★ Posted August 27, 2017 Share #4 Posted August 27, 2017 I think aboot 16. Map My Ride freaked out again and stopped half way. Another 200+ mph split. Absolutely stunning conditions. Biking in a cool breeze is incredible.
Guest Posted August 27, 2017 Share #5 Posted August 27, 2017 No bike miles but we hiked about 6 miles out from where we camped last night. Around 20 miles total since Friday. Great trip and had awesome weather.

Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted August 27, 2017 Share #8 Posted August 27, 2017 Reston Century. 106 miles, 6:32, 4,419 feet climbed. Yes it was hard but I felt strong the whole ride. I'm a wicked person for enjoying passing people climbing long steep grades. Beautiful day. Chilly, 63 at the start but it warmed up into the 80s by the afternoon. Scenery was fantastic. Farms, vineyards and such. Some cool log cabins dating back to pre civil war days, built onto to make some great looking properties. Rolling hills. No end to the rolling hills. The climb up Taylorstown Road will never be forgotten. 2
