A good prick

Yesterday I gave blood to the Red Cross. Blood drive where I work collected about 33 units. The phlebotomist made me nervous because it didn't seem like he knew what he was doing. He had to draw lines on either side of a prominent arm vein and ask the boss about needle insertion. The donation went cleanly and other than a small red dot, you can't tell there was a needle used. :hapydance:

Yours or someone else's?

Sorry for not clarifying but the Red Cross won't accept blood that they did not draw directly from the donor. I should have realized robots would be unable to grasp the concept as they exchange oily fluids amongst themselves all the time.

I am running a deficit having received 34 units and only contributing about a dozen...

Gotcha covered.

It seems like the needle sticking process is continually evolving. I've had them draw the lines on either side. The last time I think they drew a couple top & bottom. I have a great left arm site that the stickers absolutely love.
