Sweet ride, but your drapes do not match your carpet.

Also, I have to dock you 7337 potato points for the NDS pic and the complete lack of anything resembling a garage door.

If you need to, we can arrange a potato point payment plan as well.  My wife just needs to know that I have some points coming in.

We have discussed eliminating the carpet.

I knew I was going to get blasted about the lack of garage door. When I got home, my stalker neighbor was outside. I didn't need to give him any of my time last night!

Congratulations! You have a nice friend.

He's a great guy! He could buy and sell most of our group. He is the director of a wildlife trust. He specialized in turning around floundering non-profits. He fell in love with the trust. Even though it is doing quite well now, he wants to retire there. He really believes in the research they are doing. His job is to get VIP investors to keep the trust healthy. He has definitely done so! Jane Goodall is an annual visitor, Sam Watterson has narrated 2 videos on the trust, there are others he is not allowed to name.

But when he is with us, he is one of the guys. I think he enjoys that! He knows I can, and have, dropped him without effort. But I have also worked with him so he is now the fastest rider in his upper-crust group in his hometown! We just have a great time hanging out when he is in the neighborhood.

Of course, last night, at the end of the group ride he said, "Crap! I just made you faster! What was I thinking?!?!"

You couldn;t sweep the leaves? :D

You should see the rest of the yard! We had severe wind gusts Sunday night. Took down several branches and a tree in the back yard. I haven't touched any of it this week with busy work week and WoW in AZ until tomorrow.  This was the cleanest part!

Nice! What's the story on the wheels? All carbon or carbon & Aluminum?  The rear looks all carbon, front maybe both?

All carbon. Made by Stradalli as well. Smooth efficient bearings! I've never been on deep dish wheels before. I noticed little wiggles in crosswinds, but nothing terrible.

I had 38 mm deep section wheels and they buffeted a little in cross winds but it wasn't a big deal. Still very cool!

Ah, all is right with the world.  White garage door and drive side pic.

No, still not right. The right crank MUST be in the forward position and the valve stems MUST be at the bottom.

This is a total style fail.

Nice bike though. :)

EDIT: I see Kzoo beat me to it.

You have to do a test and see how much faster you are on the new bike!

Did you get a good deal on the bike?

I'm really tempted to do back to back rides on a couple segments. Old bike first just to be fair!

Smokin' deal! He wanted to be sure the bike would be ridden and cared for. He said he could have sold it to a wealthy buddy for $750 more, but he would never ride it.

Man, what a win!

Yes, you have to do the speed test!

First test today.

Conditions - 86 F, 65% humidity, North wind at 8 mph.

Rider - 55 year old male, 176 lbs, had cut and hauled 5 pickup loads of branches before I rode.

Bike 1 - 2007 Giant OCR1. 105 group. Upgraded to Mavic Axium wheels and Ultegra rear derailleur, 20,000 miles on the bike. Specialized 700x26 tires.

Bike 2 - 2015 Stradalli Salerno. Ultegra 11 Spd group. Gatorskins tires. About 3,000 miles on bike. 2 rides for 44 miles for me before today.

Rode both rides with my Garmin on my wrist so I wouldn't peek  I only used perceived effort to try to keep things equal

Ride 1 https://www.strava.com/activities/1165232751/shareable_images/map_based?hl=en-US&v=1504396263

Ride 2 https://www.strava.com/activities/1165232770/shareable_images/map_based?hl=en-US&v=1504393980

Even though the new bike was the 2nd ride, that ride was 30 seconds quicker. I'm still tweaking the fit on the Stradalli and this was only my 3rd ride on it. I think a couple more tests may be in order...
